Deborah Shapiro, CAC, CSP
Secretary
Deborah has been in the staffing industry since 1982 … by mistake. As a freelance bookkeeper, she helped an independent staffing company join a franchised, national company. The independent company was in the midst of financial woes and the bank said that if they let Deborah take over the books, they would be able to avoid disaster. It wasn't long before their Beverly Hills branch was ranked #1 for more than 10 years in a row. She was hooked on the industry. They expanded to three offices and were very successful. After leaving the company in 2005, she founded Perfecto Staffing with Debi Olcese and discovered California Staffing Professionals and has been an active member since 2005. She has held officer titles the last 3 years and plans to stay active as long as CSP lets her. She earned her CAC designation in 2006 and Certified Staffing Professional designation in 2007. Aside from her love of the staffing industry, she cherishes the people that she connects with in this industry. Born in Connecticut, raised in Upstate New York, attended college in Long Island, NY, Deborah moved to California in 1979 and has not regretted one moment, except for the distance of her family. Perfecto Staffing has been very active in the community, receiving acknowledgements from many charity organizations. |
