Certification Opportunities for the Staffing Industry

California Accredited Consultant (CAC)
Since 1990, California Staffing Professionals offered the California Accredited Consultant (CAC) exam to personnel in the staffing industry. More than 1,400 professionals increased their knowledge of the staffing business in areas that faced them and their clients every day. Those individuals who successfully completed the exam proudly display CAC designation after their name to signify their commitment to the staffing industry and their knowledge of the laws that govern it.

October 2006 was the final opportunity to earn the CAC designation, and California Staffing Professionals supports national certification programs offered by both American Staffing Association (ASA) and the National Association of Personnel Consultants (NAPS).

Certified Staffing Professional (CSP)
Effective in 2007, American Staffing Association (ASA) offers a California-specific module as part of their Certified Staffing Professional (CSPTM) national certification. The Certified Staffing Professional program reviews the myriad employment laws and rules that affect the staffing industry. Understanding these fundamentals reduces the risk of legal liability for employment law violations by you, your company, and your customers. Their Technical Services Certified (TSCTM) program reviews the multitude of employment laws and rules that affect the technical services industry. California Staffing Professionals supports the CSPTM and TSCTM certifications and urges all staffing professionals to become nationally certified through American Staffing Association. For more information about ASA's national certifications, visit http://www.americanstaffing.net/education/index.cfm.

Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC)/Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist (CTS)
The National Association of Personnel Consultants (NAPS) has been offering national certification since 1961. It was initially established as a self-regulation vehicle for the staffing industry. Today it is the opportunity to expand the professional knowledge base in employment law, changing regulations, best business practices and the highest standards of ethics. Certification is viewed by the business community and the industry as a seal of excellence. For complete information about the CPC or CTS certifications, visit the NAPS website at ,http://www.recruitinglife.com/EduCert/index.cfm.

California Staffing Professionals supports and encourages all industry personnel to earn a certification and become more knowledgeable in their profession!
