Protect Your Business and Livelihood – Attend Legislative Day in Sacramento!
In 2025, the Staffing Industry was faced with numerous legislative proposals that would have threatened the overall viability of our industry to exist in California.
Chief among these bills was legislation that would have banned conversion fees, required bill rate disclosure to employees, mandated clients to hire long-term temps, and would have placed numerous other requirements on clients and devalue the use of staffing firms by clients. Thankfully, through grassroots lobbying and the work of our Sacramento lobbyist, every threat to our industry was defeated in 2025.
We expect similar efforts in 2026 and participation in Legislative Day presents an opportunity to preempt those efforts from taking root and getting traction. We use this day to meet with and educate our elected officials about the importance of the staffing industry and how our industry helps our employees, clients, and the state and regional economy.
